About Accounting Connection & Training

Accounting Connection & Training (ACT) is a training institute focusing on continuing professional development with headquarter in Melbourne. ACT was established in 2015. Since then, we work with individuals and businesses across Australia to develop skills of accounting professionals in different areas. This including accounting, computer, English, cultural awareness, work experience and career skills. Our goal is to ensure that we provide participants with the best possible training & support to achieve their career goals. Therefore, ACT collaborates with accounting firms and businesses to facilitate practical in-house accounting and bookkeeping internships/training, for accounting graduates and students.

Our Journey

Annie & Cyrus are the co-founder of ACT. They noticed that many employees and candidates in accounting industry do not have the necessary skills and knowledge to do their work, but in fact those employees and candidates are well trained in schools & universities. Hence, they combine their expertise in education, recruitment, professional services and business experiences to develop various training programs. They both share a belief that accounting graduates require more than technical education to achieve career success. In addition, they have identified that professional career success requires strong communication skills, job search skills, an understanding of workplace behaviours and meaningful work experience.

Today

In 2016, ACT opens its second venue on St Kilda Road Towers. ACT has developed a set of courses to help students, graduates, migrants, job seeks and experienced professionals. Our courses include accounting skills, job readiness, practical software and tailor-made business training solutions. We run various of events throughout the year to help professionals to stay connected to the industry. Our team has extensive experience in accounting industry, management, recruitment and career coaching. We offer practical and professional programs, which prepare our students with the skills and knowledge to become successful individuals and help them move up the career ladder.
